  • Theatre Vacancies

    There are a wide range of exciting roles within our Theatres, including front of house, back stage/technical, bars, box office and management.  

    Rolling recruitment takes place for Front of House - Ushers, Bars and Technical Stage Crew and this is handled directly by each Theatre.     • Casual Front of House and Bar Staff - London Palladium

      We are seeking casual members of staff to join the bar and Front of House team at the iconic London Palladium.

      The theatre is hosting a busy timetable of high-profile concerts and variety acts throughout the remainder of 2017 including Scouting for Girls, Alison Moyet, Beverley Knight, Grayson Perry, Michael McIntyre and an enchanting new production of Dick Whittington produced by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s biggest pantomime producer, and the team behind last year’s record-breaking Cinderella.

      We are looking for staff who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and who are able to provide world class customer service to the wide variety of audiences visiting the London Palladium this year.

      Experience working on a bar would be advantageous as well as a willingness to get involved with all aspects of the operation.

    • Front of House Assistants - Adelphi Theatre

      Broadway’s Tony Award winning musical Kinky Boots is currently delighting audiences at the Adelphi Theatre in the heart of London’s West End. Kinky Boots is an uplifting musical inspired by true events and based on the hit movie taking you from the factory floor to the glamourous catwalks of Milan.

      The Adelphi Theatre is currently seeking Front of House Assistants to join their team.

      Successful applicants will drive retail sales whilst delivering the highest levels of customer service in order to ensure that our guests experience a magical visit to our theatre. Applicants should have a confident and positive attitude, be highly motivated, proactive, be willing to work unsociable hours and able to work well under pressure. Previous experience of either retail, bar, hospitality and/or visitor service is essential.

      Contract type available: -
      8 shows per week:
      Monday to Saturday evenings and Wednesday and Saturday afternoons
      Basic hours 30 per week with the potential for some overtime

      Applicants must be available to work all shifts as per the contract type with the exception of holiday allowance and must be available to work throughout the Christmas period.

      Contract will be for the remainder of the show at The Adelphi Theatre and all terms and conditions of employment will be as per the SOLT/BECTU agreement.

      Rate of pay: from £33.75 per shift (3 hours 45 minutes)

      Hot on the heels of last year’s record-breaking Cinderella, The London Palladium are hosting an enchanting new production of Dick Whittington and are recruiting for the roles listed above over the Christmas period.

      Successful applicants will drive sales in Front of House and Bar Operations at the Palladium whilst delivering the highest levels of customer service in order to ensure that our guests experience a magical visit to our theatre.

      Applicants should have a background in customer service, be highly motivated, be verbally fluent in English and well presented.  Applicants should have a positive attitude and be able to work well under pressure. You should also be confident, proactive and able to work well under your own initiative.

      Previous retail, bar and hospitality experience would be desirable although not essential as full training will be given.

      This is a contract to cover the busy Christmas period, so availability throughout the holiday season is essential. We are looking for people to work 6-12 shows a week, Tuesday – Sunday. A full schedule is available on request.

    The head office team is based at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and provide dedicated support to all our Theatres. Roles at head office may include IT, Finance, Programming, HR, Operations, Works and Hospitality.
